Bentley will soon release the superlative of the Continental GT. The brand is already presenting us with a teaser in which the Continental GT Speed can also be heard.
Just like the previous generation Continental GT, its successor also gets an extra potent Speed version. The design team in Crewe will undoubtedly base that GT Speed on the Continental GT with W12 and so the noble Englishman promises to hide a lot of muscle bundles under his tracksuit.
The current Continental GT with W12 presented in 2017, later a version with V8 appeared, with its 635 hp and 900 Nm strong biturbo 6.0 W12 is already more powerful than the first Speed variant of the previous generation Continental GT, although the previous GT Speed kicked. after a facelift, a model year update and the introduction of the special Black Edition, it eventually reached 642 hp and 840 Nm.
The new Continental GT Speed promises to be something very special. According to Bentley, it will become its most performance-focused model ever “without compromising comfort or luxury”. Count on a power increase of about 50 hp, which would mean that the new Continental GT Speed will be around 685 hp powerful. The openwork Continental, the Continental GTC, will probably also get a Speed version at a later stage. The nightmare for anyone with a toupee. Whether Bentley, just like the previous generation Continental GT, will ever also carry a fierce Supersport version, remains to be seen.
