From my own circles
At Citroën, one French top man makes room for another, because the brand appoints a new – again French – CEO. Thierry Koskas will take the helm of the brand while remaining head of Stellantis’ overall sales and marketing arm. Vincent Cobée, who was CEO of Citroën until today, is looking outside the company.
Stellantis appoints a new French CEO for Citroën. Someone who found the group within its own circles, because Thierry Koskas – the new person with final responsibility for the brand with the chevron – also held a high position within the giant before today. And he still holds it, because he will bear the responsibility for Citroën while retaining his position as boss of Stellantis’ sales and marketing arm.
As CEO of Citroën, he succeeds Vincent Cobée. At the beginning of 2020, it settled at the top of the brand that was then still under the PSA flag. Under the wings of Stellantis, Cobée moved forward courageously, but he has now seen enough: the CEO is going to seek refuge outside the group. According to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, successor Thierry Koskas is perfect for the position and he can fill his current and new role at the same time for the time being. Tavares thanks Cobée for his work within the Stellantis group. Vincent Cobée was at the helm of Citroën when it moved from PSA to Stellantis.
