There is another new player and the land of electric hypercars. At least, that player is almost there. AutoWeek can exclusively show you the patent plates of a creation of Deus Automobiles.

Ambitious companies that want to build electric hypercars have been sprouting like mushrooms for some time. Every now and then we are digitally acquainted with a new and often interchangeable-looking sportsman with several thousand horsepower generated by electric motors. The car of which we can show you the patent plates today is one from that category.

These patent drawings show the first car from Deus Automobiles, a company that describes itself as ‘a developer of electric hypercars’. The car on these patent plates will probably be called Vayenne and will have a 1,500 hp electric powertrain with which a top speed of 400 km/h should be feasible. In addition, the Vayenne must have an electric range of 450 kilometers, which indicates the presence of a large battery pack.

Deus Automobiles is the brand of the Romanian car designer Adrian-Filip Butuca whose company, at least on paper, is based in Switzerland. Whether the car will actually ever hit the road and whether we’ll be hearing more from it at all remains to be seen.
