If you ever log in to the iCloud website, you will soon be in for a surprise. Apple has given iCloud site a big boost!
New look iCloud website
You can of course do a lot with iCloud. All data in the cloud is instantly available on all your Apple devices, which is why a photo you take on your iPhone shows up almost instantly on your iPad.
But don’t forget that there is also a website of iCloud. This allows you to log in to your iCloud on any Mac, PC or other device with a browser. So you can view your photos on a Windows machine or check your appointments on an Android tablet.
This web version of iCloud was starting to look a little dated. That’s why Apple has given the iCloud website a fresh look. When you now log in to the beta version of the website, you no longer see the well-known Apple icons, but different frames appear with all the important apps.
You can see at a glance what your recent photos are, your appointments that are open and your latest e-mail messages. By the way, there is still a box with all your app icons, but for that you first have to scroll down a bit (unless you are behind a very large screen).
Don’t like this new layout at all? At the very bottom is the ‘Edit homepage’ button. With that you can adjust the frames (Apple calls them tiles) or even remove them completely.
Get started with the new iCloud beta
Would you like to check out the new look of the iCloud website yourself? Which can! Surf to the website beta.icloud.com and click on the ‘Log in’ button. Then enter your Apple ID information. You will then immediately see the new overview.
