iPad Pro M5
A new generation of the iPad Pro is coming! It has been clear for some time that Apple is working on a new iPad Pro with M5 chip. The current version of the tablet runs on the M4 chip and was Apple’s first device with this advanced processor. With the iPad Pro 2025, Apple goes one step further, because the device runs on the completely new M5 chip. We have never seen this in a Mac or iPad before.
Apple uses the release of the iPad Pro again this year to introduce a new version of the M-chip. It is expected that the new iPad Pro with M5 chip will be unveiled later this month, but we don’t have to wait that long to see the tablet. New functions
If we have to believe the video, the iPad Pro M5 will get a major update especially under the hood. Apple already provided the iPad Pro in 2024 with a completely new design, which we also see at the Ipad Pro from 2025. The tablet is again extremely thin and has an 11 or 13-inch OLED display. At the rear, the device has a 12-megapixel camera, which we have already seen with the earlier generation of the device.
The iPad Pro becomes much more powerful inside, because the M5 chip is a big step forward. The video shows that the new iPad Pro with M5 chip is about 10 percent faster than the iPad Pro M4 when performing one task at the same time. When processing multiple assignments, the M5 chip is even 15 percent faster than the M4 chip. The new generation of the tablet works much faster, especially if you are multitasking on the iPad.
More memory
The iPad Pro in the video has 256 GB of storage space and 12 GB RAM. The current generation of the tablet with 256 GB still has 8 GB of memory, but that will be more with the new iPad Pro with M5 chip. In addition, you can probably opt for versions with 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB, all of which come with 12 GB of memory. Furthermore, no new functions of the iPad Pro have surfaced in the video.
It is striking that the new iPad Pro with M5 chip has already been revealed in a video. The MacBook Pro with M4 chip appeared on the same channel last year, even before the official release of the laptop. It is therefore likely that the iPad Pro with M5 chip is authentic. In that case, this is the second year in a row that the channel has acquired an Apple device, even before the device is in stores. That it is a Russian video is even more striking, because Apple no longer sells devices in Russia.
Release of the iPad Pro
We don’t have to wait long for the new iPad Pro with M5 chip, because the tablet is said to be planned for this month. It now seems almost certain that the release is coming, because the iPad Pro is already popping up in the videos.
