The new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé appeared less than a month ago. Of course there will be a fantastic top version peppered by AMG that bears the famous ’63’ designation. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupé now seems almost ready.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé, presented last month, was in the spotlight earlier this week because the first prices are known. Now he takes the stage in a completely different way. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupé shows itself – not for the first time. It’s been a while since we last saw it and in the meantime some stickers have fallen, so we can now see the thicker bumpers and exuberant grille of the sporty top model a bit better.
You can safely say that, even if it is ‘only’ a GLC, it will be an unsubtle device. The same applies to the powertrain. After all, Mercedes-AMG is expected to spoon the hardware from the C63 into the GLC 63. That means that it is a plug-in hybrid with a system power of 680 hp, coming from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and an electric motor. Almost unnecessarily much power, only it will have to move a little more weight in the GLC and therefore logically yield slightly less good performance. But oh well, it will never be fixed. There will also be a ‘regular’ Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 again.
