The East
The Dutch will be released on 13 May Amazon-original De Oost on the streaming platform. This film tells the story of the young soldier Johan, who, under the leadership of the well-known army captain Raymond Westerling, takes on Indonesian fighters together with his comrades. After a number of violent incidents against the (increasingly opposing) local population, Johan finds himself in conflict. What are they actually doing and are the merciless actions actually necessary? The fierce images from the trailer are impressive.
