For the mere monthly fee of 2.99 euros you have unlimited access to Amazon Prime Video. The American company publishes new titles on its own streaming service every month. Which fresh films and series can you expect in September? This is what’s new on Amazon Prime Video.
The Voyeurs
Netflix recently expanded its spicy frameworks with the hit series Sex Life and Amazon Prime Video seems to be following this trend with The Voyeurs. The erotic thriller follows a young couple who peek at another couple from the window of their newly renovated apartment. Pippa and Thomas do not hesitate to use lenses with a large zoom range. After an innocent beginning, spying on their (cheating) neighbors across the street slowly but surely turns into an obsession. This puts the relationship between the two main characters to the test, especially when they get involved in the excesses of the eccentric couple on the other side. Can Pippa and Thomas manage to shape their own lives in a healthy way? The Voyeurs will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from September 10.
Cinderella
From September 3, the new musical film Cinderella can be admired on the American streaming service. This Amazon original features a fresh interpretation of the classic Cinderella fairy tale. The well-known orphan girl has big dreams, where she sets the bar quite high. Fortunately, she is not alone, because a cheerful fairy helps Cinderella to fulfill all her wishes. Enjoy a bombastic spectacle with lots of singing and dancing.
LuLaRich
LuLaRich is a true four-part docuseries that exposes the practices of dubious marketing firm LuLaRoe. The American company managed to attract tens of thousands of distributors through controversial marketing campaigns, whereby the sale of clothing (such as the well-known colorful leggings) mainly took place via social media. The owners promised that the often young mothers could run their shop completely from home, but unfortunately they soon had to deal with all kinds of problems. Complaints about the quality of the clothing were pouring in. Critics argue that the recruitment process is very similar to that of a pyramid scheme. LuLaRich humorously portrays how LuLaRoe’s controversial business model was able to grow so quickly. This docuseries includes interviews with the wealthy founders and poor shopkeepers who are completely on the ground. The documentary series can be seen from September 10.
PSG Ville Lumière, 50 Ans De Légende (season 2)
Football fans set up! The second season of the Paris Saint-Germain docuseries will be released online on September 10. The wealthy football club experienced a rather turbulent summer with the arrival of Georginio Wijnaldum and Lionel Messi, although the trailer does not contain a glimpse of the Argentine superstar. The four episodes therefore mainly look back on the 2020/2021 football season, where the performances of greats such as Neymar and Mbappé are closely followed. This second season also gives an impressive look behind the scenes. There are quite a few dressing room images. Finally, there is plenty of attention for the rich history of the French top club.
Goliath (season 4)
Fans of the drama series Goliath are probably eagerly looking forward to September 24th. The fourth and final season will be released on Amazon Prime Video on that date. The story revolves around the once celebrated lawyer Billy McBride. The law firm he worked for abruptly dismissed him. After that, he soon hit rock bottom. Due to lack of ambition, Billy mainly stayed in the pub, although he occasionally takes on a small legal case. One day, he and a woman uncover a striking conspiracy in which an employee of a weapons manufacturer dies under mysterious circumstances. A salient detail is that in this lawsuit he will be faced with his former colleagues at the law firm. In season four, Billy tries to curb the local drug industry, while the striking lawyer still struggles with the aftermath of the previous season’s assassination attempt.
