Countless new Netflix movies and Netflix series appear every month. It’s difficult to keep track of everything, so we like to list the best films and series that are new on Netflix. This is new on Netflix in June!
The Kitchen
Three women in Hells Kitchen in the 1970s struggle to make ends meet when their husbands are arrested. At the time, women were seen as people who were only good at keeping the household in order and having and caring for children. However, these three ladies argue with a straight leg. They have to make a plan to keep their heads above water and they are not afraid to break a few rules and cross borders to protect their families and families. Melissa McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss and Tiffany Haddish will star.
Good on Paper
Iliza Shlesinger has long been a regular on Netflix. With her cabaret shows such as War Paint, Elder Millenial and Unveiled, she chooses the life of the young modern woman and goes against the established norm. Good on Paper is the first film in which Iliza acts and it is (loosely) based on her own life. She plays the comedian Andrea who is not yet married in her mid-thirties and is childless. When she does meet a guy who appears to be perfect, she’s quick to ignore all the red flags. But something doesn’t seem quite right with Mr. Perfect and Andrea has to find out.
Fatherhood
When a father is left alone with his newborn daughter after the death of his wife, he is left with his hands in his hair. As a father, he struggles to play the role of both mother and father for his baby and could use some help. Of course he wants to do everything he can to make his daughter grow up happily. In addition, he still struggles with the loss of his wife, which makes Fatherhood a comical but also emotional film starring comedy actor Kevin Hart.
Awake
After a mysterious event, something strange happens to people on Earth: they can no longer sleep. Sleep deprivation was previously used as a torture method and therefore has few positive side effects. The longer one does not sleep, the stranger the brain starts to behave. The ex-military Jil has to keep her son and daughter safe in a situation that derails increasingly faster and more violently. But she may also have the key to the solution in the form of her own daughter, who, unlike the rest of the population, can still sleep.

The two old men try to keep their spirits up as they brave everyday life in Los Angeles. With the arrival of the third season, this series comes to an end.
The Bronze
Melissa Rauch, known as Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory, will star in The Bronze. In it she plays the role of Hope Ann Gregory, who was America’s darling in the 1980s when she won an unexpected bronze medal for America as a gymnast at a prestigious gymnastic event. But now Hope has to deal with past glory while holding on to the shred of fame she once knew. She refuses to take off her training outfit and still has the same hairstyle she had during her five minutes of fame. There she tries to get the most out of it while trying to get good deals at the mall because of her long-ago elite athlete status.
StartUp
StartUp is an exciting series starring, among others, Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, Sherlock Holmes). Cryptocurrency plays a role in this and the shady things that you can do with unregistered money. Of course, there is also a dogged FBI agent who tries to stop the three individuals who are eager to use this money. All three available seasons of the series will release on Netflix this month.
The Book of Henry
Young Henry is a very smart boy who is immensely mature before the age of eleven. He lives with his single mother and brother in a house next to a young girl of about the same age. Henry begins to suspect that something is wrong with his neighbor. He starts his own investigation in an attempt to find out what exactly is going on in his neighbor’s house.
