The Good Doctor (season 5)
The popular hospital series The Good Doctor has already reached its fifth season. The new episodes can be seen on Videoland from 7 February. The somewhat curious surgeon Shaun Murphy has autism. That works both ways. He sometimes lacks some empathy towards his loved ones and patients. On the other hand, because of this condition, he also gains special insights that help him to solve complex medical matters.
In Season 5, Shaun and Lea return from Guatemala, after which the two lovebirds make concrete plans to get married. Of course, various medical issues are also discussed. Doctor Murphy and his team try to solve it in their own way. Among other things, a poisoned baby and a young man with a special cancer are discussed in the new season.
ZeroZeroZero (season 1)
After Gomorrah, Videoland puts ZeroZeroZero another tough Italian crime series from the same makers online. The focus is on the international trade in pure cocaine. For example, ZeroZeroZero shows which route the white powder takes. Follow production in Mexico led by a drug cartel and bribed soldiers, the transport via ships of a corrupt shipping company and the delivery to Italian mafia members.
Of course, this is not without a struggle, because various organized gangs and local dealers are fighting for a monopoly position. This results in a fierce power struggle full of violence, in which the underworld and the upper world merge seamlessly. This explosive series is not for the faint of heart. The eight episodes can be seen from 14 February.
Private Eyes (season 1)
After a successful ice hockey career, Matt Shade decides to change course. Together with the beautiful private detective Angie Everett, he starts an investigation team. The duo exposes various abuses. The first investigation focuses on the curious death of an ice hockey player who suddenly dropped dead during a game. Matt knew this young man and is doing everything he can to solve the case.
Despite the heavy plot, do not expect rock-solid action, because it is a crime series with room for the necessary humor. Four more seasons appeared after season 1 Private Eyes. We are curious whether Videoland will buy it soon. The ten episodes of the first season can be seen from February 21.
Força Koeman (season 3)
Who thought it was with two seasons Forca Koeman stayed, is wrong. Even after his much-discussed dismissal from FC Barcelona, Koeman and his loved ones still have plenty to say. For example, the experienced trainer looks back on his period at the Catalan top club and tells what went wrong. The settlement of his ongoing multi-million dollar contract is also discussed. The well-known agent Rob Jansen is closely involved in this.
Not much is known about this third part of Força Koeman and the question is to what extent the former national coach can tell his full story. In a teaser, Koeman indicates that one of the conditions is that he may not criticize the club. The third part of the docuseries will be released on February 24.
Laughing gas king Deniz
With the Videoland Academy project, the streaming platform is giving talented filmmakers a chance. The three-part documentary Laughing gas king Deniz is an exponent of that. It portrays the self-proclaimed laughing gas king Deniz Üresin. Although the money flows freely, he decides to drastically change his life and stop trading nitrous oxide. He is in fact quite shocked by the sudden death of his best friend.
Can Deniz manage to earn money in a fair way? In any case, there is no shortage of plans, because the young man provides information and even has political ambitions. Laughing gas king Deniz can be seen from 4 February.
Movies
Videoland has a lot of interesting films in the pipeline in January.
