The Handmaid’s Tale (season 4)
Videoland will put the first two episodes of the fourth season of the award-winning series The Handmaid’s Tale online on April 30. After that, a new episode will appear every week. This series is about the fortunes of the closed state of Gilead, which was formerly part of the United States. Due to the low birth rates, young women are owned by the state, but June does not accept this status. In season four, the main character turns out to be a rebel leader in which she wants to free all the women from Gilead. She takes great risks and makes decisions that may have major consequences for her loved ones.
Project Gio
In Project Gio, the well-known YouTuber Giovanni Latooy plays himself. After his parents go on vacation for two weeks, Gio decides to throw a big party for about a hundred people. That goes completely wrong, because a large part of the house is destroyed after fireworks have been set off. The YouTube phenomenon is not discouraged and decides to repair the villa as well as possible with the help of handymen. The twenties just don’t have a penny to make. In the meantime, his YouTube channel continues to run as if nothing is wrong and Gio continues to upload new videos. Project Gio can be seen from May 7.
The Matchmaker
The Matchmaker has previously appeared on Videoland, but on May 22 the romantic comedy can be seen again on the streaming platform. After years of international existence as a photographer, Chris returns to the parental home for a new assignment. He tries to find the ideal match for his single mother Marja. Chris decides to secretly make a promo video of his mother and then publish it on a dating site. The reactions from single men have been overwhelming. During the many dates Marja falls from one surprise to the next. Can she find love happiness?
TIME IS MONEY
TIME IS MONEY provides an impressive insight into the generally closed world of the watch trade. This three-part documentary follows the only 27-year-old Jasper L figureing closely. He is the most successful watch dealer in our country, using figureheads such as Ellen DeGeneres and Lil ‘Kleine to reach the international top. Unfortunately, not all that glitters is gold. The very expensive timepieces are very popular with criminals, which means that Lemminging faces all kinds of major (security) challenges. For example, he was forced to move and his shop in Amsterdam has already been robbed. This documentary series can be seen in its entirety on Videoland from 7 May. No trailer has been released yet.
The Revenant
Recently The Revenant appeared on Videoland. Leonardo DiCrapio played the role of Hugh Glass for this adventure film. The story takes place during the 1800s, where Hugh and his fellow adventurers are attacked by a bear on an expedition through the American wilderness. The party falls apart and Hugh is eventually left alone. It is the start of an inhuman survival journey in which the protagonist has to deal with betrayal, setbacks and a harsh winter.
