The new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in Hybrid is a car with a dual character. With a fully electric range of 65 kilometers in the city, you can make virtually all your daily journeys emission-free, while the hybrid technology is suitable for longer trips. And even then you still surprisingly often drive fully electric and you rarely have to refuel.
The new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in Hybrid owes its generous electric range to a battery pack with a capacity of 10.5 kWh, hidden invisibly in the car. This allows you to make almost all daily rides fully electric. The two electric motors provide smooth acceleration and enable a quiet top speed of 135 km / h. In the city, a fully electric range of up to 65 kilometers is feasible, on average that is 50 kilometers. Since most people no longer drive every day anyway, charging once a day is generally sufficient. And those who charge more often can drive even more electric kilometers.
Powerful and incredibly economical
The electric motors and petrol engine together deliver a combined power of 117 kW / 159 hp, which of course ensures excellent performance and always plenty of pulling power. The eight-speed E-TECH transmission shifts gears at lightning speed and ensures maximum efficiency. The combined consumption is only 1.5-1.7 l / 100 km (WLTP), but in practice this can be more or less. The more often you charge, the less you fill up.

Tax benefit
The two additional electric motors and battery pack make the new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in Hybrid slightly heavier. This weight is more than compensated by the tax authorities: for a plug-in hybrid, a discount on the motor vehicle tax of fifty percent compared to the rate of a petrol car of the same weight (until 2025, from then on a 25% discount). For the business market there is the special, richly equipped CAPTUR Hybrid Business version, with an attractive addition for business drivers who also drive privately.
