New Rolls-Royce Ghost is already partly visible

Rolls-Royce is working hard on the next generation of the Ghost. A car that has long been on paper, but is now also shown to the world in drawn form.

The new Rolls-Royce Ghost is eager to take over from the current generation. After all, it has been running for eleven years. Even for a Rolls it is high time for a successor. The British luxury brand said in a few months’ time. The Ghost, which has appeared several times as a camouflaged prototype on public roads, was designed by designer Henry Cloke. In an animation of the brand, we see Cloke putting the lines of the Ghost on paper and eventually the car comes out in front of a bunch of interested people. Thus we can already see what can be expected from it.

It should come as no surprise that the new Ghost – as you can clearly see – is by no means a revolution. Broadly speaking, the Phantom’s little brother just stays true to the well-known recipe. It can be seen that the front bumper has become slightly more striking, with a larger opening that runs upwards in a kind of curl on both sides. Although of course we have a drawing in front of us here, it is also clear that the Ghost gets fairly minimalist-lined headlights with LED technology.

Incidentally, it is slightly less a continuation of the old song. The new Ghost shares its (shortened) base with the Phantom, where the current is still on a modified BMW 7-series platform. That does not mean that the relationship with parent company BMW will be difficult to spot technically, because in all likelihood, the 6.6-liter V12 from BMW will simply find its way back to the Ghost. That is possible with the new Ghost for the last time.
