1. Heartstopper (Season 2)
In the heartwarming series Heartstopper, teenagers Charlie and Nick fall in love. Meanwhile, all sorts of things happen to the characters around them. This season includes a school trip to Paris and exams on the horizon, as Nick searches for the right time to come out to his friends.

2. Heart of Stone
Gal Gadot plays a secret agent with a special weapon in this espionage film: the world’s most powerful artificial intelligence that predicts what people will do in the future. In this way, major hazards are stopped before they start.

3. One Piece
Fans of the anime One Piece look forward to this series with some trepidation. When Netflix uses real actors to film the story of a beloved anime, it does not always work out well. This time? In One Piece you follow a group of pirates in search of treasure.

4. Painkiller
The Painkiller series is based on the book Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America’s Opioid Epidemic. Starring Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), who plays a lawyer investigating the new drug OxyContin. Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) plays a man who was instrumental in the development of this drug.

5. Zombieverse
From South Korea comes a new reality competition, in which zombies have taken over Seoul. The survivors must escape and for that they must be fit and smart.

Apple TV Plus August 2023
August won’t be a busy month for Apple TV Plus, but you’ll still be able to watch new episodes of Foundation. In addition, you can expect the following new things.
Physical (season 3)
The third and final season of the Rose Byrne series Physical starts this month. Things seem to be going well for main character Sheila’s workout videos, but then she starts to face competition.

strange planet
In Nathan W. Pyle’s comics you get a glimpse into the strange life of people, through the eyes of aliens who come to live here. These comics are now animated.

Invasion (season 2)
In Invasion you get to see how aliens storm into the earth from different places in the world. A lot of questions were asked in the first season of this series, which we hope to get answers to in this second season.

Disney Plus August 2023
Disney Plus is going wild in August, including the release of the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie, finally the second season of The Bear, a new Star Wars series and the new season of Only Murders in the Building!
