New Vinfast concept car in pictures – Exclusive

The Vietnamese Vinfast has a new study model ready, a concept car of which Techzle can exclusively show you the first images. It strongly seems that Vinfast is looking ahead to a new electric model with the still unnamed concept car.

The relatively young Vietnamese Vinfast has European expansion plans. That was already well known, although Vinfast CEO Nguyen Thi Van Anh recently said that 2022 is the year in which the brand enters the Dutch market. Vinfast, which started its car adventure with two models based on the BMW 5-series and X5, already has a relatively extensive model range in its home country of Vietnam, which includes various electric cars such as the VF34, VF32 and VF33. There seems to be more to come. Techzle has exclusively surfaced a set of patent drawings of a still unknown new Vinfast concept car.

Vinfast’s still unnamed new concept car has a pretty striking design. It appears to be a relatively high electric hatchback with a steeply sloping roofline. In the center of the nose we see the Vinfast logo, a logo with wide flat LED lighting on both sides. Also on the back a large Vinfast logo with next to it lights that seem to follow the legs of the V. The rear window is quite upright. The rear bumper is, just like the one at the front, endowed with large holes. Conventional door handles are still missing, which confirms that we are dealing with a study model. It is not yet known when Vinfast will present its new study model.

It remains to be seen whether the final production version of the new Vinfast visible in these patent drawings will be an entirely proprietary product. Not all models of the brand are completely unique. In addition to the BMW’s-based Lux A2.0 and AS2.0, Vinfast has the Opel Karl Rocks-based Fadil on the menu.
