Possibly also electric

The Volkswagen Tiguan is on its last legs, but the SUV will of course not remain without a successor. These spy photos show the new Volkswagen Tiguan better than ever from all angles.
We have already been able to show you the new Volkswagen Tiguan several times. The copy that our espionage photographer bivouacking in the snow now presents us is not even significantly less taped than the previously snapped test models. Still, these photos show better how the production model will be, because it is a white copy, which makes the details stand out better on this model.
The new Volkswagen Tiguan in these photos only has light decals on the front and rear, so it is fairly clear what it will actually look like. The lower grille in the bumper of this model is striking. This is in fact made up of horizontal slats and not of the semi-closed mesh as the previously photographed specimens had. In addition, this test sample does not have a chrome-colored finish around the side windows, which may indicate that it is an R-Line. The 4Motion badge on the tailgate indicates an all-wheel drive version. By the way, forget the rear lights as you see them on this copy. The production model will have completely different copies, which are probably also connected. From the outside, the new Tiguan certainly looks much more rounded than the current model.

The new Volkswagen will probably be on the market in 2024 at the latest. The current model dates from 2015 and is then eight years old. Naturally, the new Volkswagen Tiguan will be available with both conventional petrol engines and plug-in powertrains. There will probably be another Tiguan Coupé in China. It also exists of the current model: the Tiguan X. Will there also be an electric Volkswagen Tiguan? That could very well be the case, as it recently became clear.
