Traditional pack mule
Is the traditional middle class dead? Well no. The new Skoda Superb proves that. Modern and sleek, but still recognizable and not a straight trend follower.
The fourth generation of the Skoda Superb is ready for it. Although the brand new Superb looks familiar, there are certainly some noticeable exterior changes. For example, the nose is a bit sharper in shape, the rear lights are a bit smaller in relation to the rear of the Superb and everything in the interior is really different. It is certainly not as minimalist as you see in many modern cars and there is also a major role for physical (rotary) buttons. In that respect too, the Superb may be completely your car if you have a more traditional attitude.
This also applies to the drive, because the Skoda Superb will simply come back onto the market with combustion engines. Here in the Netherlands there are two versions: the 204 hp plug-in hybrid reserved for the Combi with a 1.5 TSI as the beating heart and a 150 hp mild-hybrid with 1.5 TSI. The special thing about the plug-in: you can connect it to the fast charger and top up with 50 kW. The new Skoda Superb will be available at the Dutch dealer in early spring.
