Nissan 400Z in production trim

Nissan is finally injecting the Z line with fresh DNA. The now very aging 370Z will be succeeded in the production version of the Nissan Z Proto. This is the Nissan 400Z, a car that has already been released into the world thanks to various Instagram pages.

The Nissan 400Z in these photos is the production version of the Nissan Z Proto that debuted last September. Thanks, among others this one and this Instagram page we can already see the production version of that concept car. It seems that the car will actually be called 400Z.

Previously, Techzle was able to show patent plates of the production version of the Nissan Z Proto, sketches that already confirmed that the final ‘400Z’ would hardly deviate from its yellow foreshadow. It should come as no surprise that the sporty-lined Nissan visible in these photos also deviates from the Z Proto only in detail. The external differences that do exist do not even seem to go further than the arrival of reflectors on the flanks, which are mandatory in the United States, among others.

Most likely, Nissan is hanging a 400 hp biturbo 3.0 V6 in the nose of the 400Z, a machine that comes from sister brand Infiniti and that also serves in the Q60 Red Sport. Nissan will probably pull the canvas of the 400Z within a few weeks.

The 400Z is the successor to the 370Z and is therefore part of Nissan’s Z bloodline. The Z adventure began with the 240Z developed in the 1960s and launched in 1970. Other well-known Z models are the 280ZX, 300ZX and 350Z. You can read more about this here. The Nissan 400Z is unfortunately not coming to the Netherlands as it looks now.
