Nissan gives the electric Leaf a very subtle refresh. The appearance of the Leaf is adjusted on a detailed level. It will be at dealers from spring.
The second generation Nissan Leaf presented in 2018 undergoes a number of very modest adjustments. The electric Nissan gets the most recent versions of Nissan’s emblem on both the front and rear, and it stares out at the world with a slightly modified snout. The Nissan logo is at the front, as before, in a dense black piece of plastic, but that black panel has now been given a new pattern at the edges. The chrome-colored decorative strip that used to be around the panel has disappeared.
Nissan also brings new and strikingly pronounced 16- and 17-inch large alloy wheels with black details to the Leaf. New exterior colors are also part of the model year update. The new Leaf will also be available in the colors Universal Blue and Magnetic Blue.
The powertrains are not being tinkered with, which means that the Leaf is not only available with a 40 kWh battery, but also as a Leaf+ with 64 kWh of capacity. The basic version comes about 270 kilometers on a full battery, the Leaf + kicks it to 385 km.
The prices of the Leaf of the new model year will follow in the run-up to the market launch in the spring.
