The Nissan brother of the Renault Kangoo is no longer called Kubistar or NV250, but Townstar. The Nissan Townstar is already available as an electric orderer and is now also available as a Townstar Evalia EV. Indeed: as a multifunctional passenger car version!
The Renault Kangoo is again a fairly multi-purpose model. Mercedes-Benz has the Citan and EQT based on that car in its range and Nissan borrows the Kangoo from the French for the Townstar. The Nissan Townstar has been for sale in the Netherlands as an electric van for some time and now an interesting variant has been added. It is called Townstar Evalia EV, can accommodate seven passengers and is completely electric.
The Nissan Townstar Evalia EV is of course the passenger version of the Townstar. You probably remember the Evalia designation from the passenger version of the e-NV200, which has not been supplied for about four years now. The Nissan Townstar Evalia EV has two sliding doors and seats in the second and third rows that can be moved lengthwise. As mentioned, the electric space wonder is a seven-seater, but the entire second and third rows of seats are removable. This of course means that it can be transformed into an EV with an enormous loading space in no time. Flexible!
The Nissan Townstar Evalia EV has a 122 hp electric motor and a 45 kWh battery pack. This combination gives the car a range of 265 kilometers. This may make it less suitable for a trip with the entire family, including luggage, to the south of France. AC charging is possible with a maximum of 22 kW, fast charging with a maximum of 80 kW.
The Nissan Townstar Evalia EV has a starting price of €41,990 and can be ordered immediately.
