‘No more FineWoven cases from Apple soon’

You’ll have to be quick if you want another FineWoven case from Apple. According to rumors, Apple has stopped making the cases.

Soon no more FineWoven covers from Apple

The rumor comes from user Kosutami on X (former Twitter). In the message on X he says that Apple has stopped production of the FineWoven cases due to poor durability. According to the report, Apple plans to switch to a different material (but not leather).

In the past, user Kosutami has often shared rumors about the FineWoven accessories that later turned out to be true. For example, he shared a month before the release that Apple planned to release the FineWoven bands for Apple Watch and iPhone.

Apple stopped selling leather cases in September last year. These covers have been replaced by cases made of FineWoven material. The covers (for the iPhone 15) cost 69 euros from Apple. A strap for the Apple Watch is 99 euros.

According to Apple, “the material of the cases and straps is made of sturdy microtwill and has a soft suede feel. Plus, it was developed with the planet in mind. It consists of 68 percent recycled content and has a significantly lower carbon footprint than leather.

However, the FineWoven accessories have not achieved the success that Apple had in mind. There were many complaints about the quality and durability. If Apple has actually stopped production of the FineWoven accessories, you should act quickly if you have another case in mind. According to the rumor, the stocks will no longer be replenished.
