Noble M500 ushers in a new era for the brand

Noble M500

It has been quiet around the British supercar manufacturer Noble for years. That is now changing. The relatively small brand comes with a brand new model: the M500. It should hit the road this year.

At the turn of the century, a new car manufacturer emerged in England: Noble. Although small businesses like this often arise and often quietly disappear, Noble is still with us. It became known with the M12, followed by the M400, M15 and most recently the M600. With ‘most recent’ you should not think that we are talking about a few months ago: the M600 appeared more than 12 years ago and finally went into production in 2011. 3.5 years ago, the English showed a prototype of a milder brother of the M600, which is appropriately called M500. That car is finally really coming, reports the British coach.

Where the M600 largely resembled the M14 prototype from 2004, the M500 really breaks new ground in terms of design. That is also possible after such a time. Noble is also using different technology than before. This means that the 4.4-liter V8 that Yamaha developed for the previous Volvo XC90, among other things, is not borrowed from the M600. No, as announced in 2018, the M500 has the 3.5-liter biturbo V6 that we know from the Ford GT. According to coach the block in the Noble stamps 540 hp, so it does it quite a bit quieter than the tight 660 hp Ford GT. He also has to recognize his superior in his older brother, the M600. It kicks it with its V8 to no less than 670 hp.

More detailed information about the M500 has not been released by Noble at this time. The brand itself speaks on its website about the end of 2021 as an introduction moment, but they just didn’t quite make it. In any case, it can’t take long now and it already looks interesting.
