The 2.5D-Sapphire crystal glass ensures a clear and scratch-resistant screen. The smartwatch retains the elegant appearance of its predecessor, but does have a single refined improvements. The screen itself has a diameter of 38 resp. 33.5 mm and has 466 x 466 pixels with a maximum brightness of 1000 Nits. In Smart Mode the watch lasts up to 5 days, while the energy saving mode extends the lifespan to no less than 16 days before the 46 mm and 7 days for the 43 mm model. That is striking, because many watches in this class have to be charged (almost) every day. Moreover, the fast charging technology ensures that a charging of just 10 minutes is sufficient for a full day of use. A USB-C charging cable with the magnetic ‘charging round’ is included, the plug does not.

Performance
These achievements are possible thanks to the Dual-Engine architecture, consisting of the Snapdragon W5 ‘Performance’ chipset and the BES2800 MCU ‘Efficiency’ chipset. Together these chipsets ensure smooth operation without unnecessary energy consumption. In addition, the battery capacity has been increased to 631 MAH, which has a positive influence on the efficiency and speed of the watch. Due to the smaller housing, the 43 mm model has a smaller battery of 345 mAh. The smartwatch has 2 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage space. WiFi is available up to and including Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth with 5.0. NFC is available for use in combination with Google Wallet, so that you can make contactless payments with your smartwatch.

Health and fitness
The OnePlus Watch 3 has a series of health functions, including heart rate measurement, blood oxygen monitoring, sleeping tracking and now also polish measurement measurement.
