Opel Corsa-e and Mokka-e also get greater range

The electric Opel Corsa and Mokka-e will now continue on a full battery pack. The range of the electric pair has been increased by a small series of technical adjustments.

Peugeot recently carried out a series of technical adjustments on the electric e-208 and e-2008 with which the brand managed to increase the range of the two, and DS already made similar changes on the 3 Crossback E-Tense. Of course you could count on your fingers that technical brothers Corsa-e and Mokka-e were next in line to take advantage of a longer driving range. Opel has now released how far the technically refined Corsa-e and Mokka-e can go on a full battery.

The Opel Corsa-e now has a WLTP range of 359 kilometers. Previously that was 330 kilometers. The Opel Mokka-e now squeezes 338 kilometers from its 50 kWh battery, the crossover previously had to be satisfied with a specified WLTP range of 324 kilometers. Opel has, among other things, been able to increase the efficiency of the heat pump and has also revised the HVAC system (heating, ventilation and air conditioning). Opel also parks the electric Corsa-e and Mokka-e from now on as standard on tires with a lower rolling resistance. The electric motors in both electric Opels are just 136 hp and 260 Nm strong.
