The new Opel Grandland
Opel has presented the new Grandland, Opel’s top SUV. Opel is sticking to its electrification strategy with the new Grandland. The powerful, highly efficient plug-in hybrid variants are available with a choice of front-wheel drive or electric four-wheel drive.
The technology of Opel’s flagship Insignia makes its debut in the SUV, setting new standards in the Grandland segment. The same goes for Night Vision, which is celebrating its premiere at Opel. This system detects pedestrians and animals from a distance of up to 100 meters and then warns the driver.
With the fully digital Pure Panel, the Grandland offers the driver a completely different cockpit experience. The model also includes additional technology and assistance systems that are normally only found in higher segments.
Plug-in hybrid, petrol and diesel
In the new Opel Grandland, leading edge technology and optimum comfort are combined with powerful performance and bold design. The plug-in hybrid versions offer not only the acceleration of a sports car, but also emission-free mobility thanks to the electric motors and the regenerative braking system. The flexibility of the vehicle platform allows Grandland customers to choose their preferred propulsion system: from efficient diesel and petrol engines to electrified plug-in hybrids.
The prices of the new Opel Grandland will follow within a few weeks. Then the order books also open. Delivery will start next fall.
