Oppo Find X8 Pro & MediaTek Dimensity 9400
The Find X8 Pro has the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Built on TSMC’s 2nd generation 3nm process and featuring MediaTek’s 2nd generation All Big Core design, the Dimensity 9400 delivers 35% faster CPU and 41% faster GPU performance. MediaTek also delivers a striking 40% CPU and 44% GPU efficiency and AI tasks consume 35% less power [1].
Oppo and MediaTek have worked closely to optimize the Find X8 series with the new Trinity Engine. Each smartphone also features a custom cooling system that uses a high-performance vapor chamber, graphite layer and thermal conductive gel for improved heat dissipation.

Cameras Hasselblad Master Camera System
With the Oppo Find X8 Pro, Oppo introduces its brand new Hasselblad Master Camera system with ultra-fast zoom and advanced AI capabilities. The smartphone has a quad 50MP camera setup, including a 135mm (6x) periscope camera for further zoom and a larger 23mm wide-angle camera sensor.

AI LinkBoost is suitable for concerts and optimized for stadiums, allowing you to upload videos 79% faster in busy environments [2]. Together with zoom capabilities and long battery life, you can capture and easily share higher quality, longer-range clips.
Even in weak network conditions, such as in an elevator or basement, AI LinkBoost improves uplink and downlink throughput by 50%. AI LinkBoost ensures that connectivity won’t be a problem while gaming, thanks to a triple WiFi antenna. So no matter how the smartphone is held, you benefit from the best possible connection and up to 40.11% less latency during playback [2].

Battery and battery life
Thanks to the silicon-carbon battery technology, the Find X8 Pro has nice battery performance. Due to the 5910mAh capacity of the smartphone, it should last at least 1 day, but perhaps longer. It also features fast charging: thanks to 80W Oppo SUPERVOOC charging, you get hours of power within minutes. The device also delivers fast wireless charging with 50W AIRVOOC, and when paired with an Oppo Mag Charge case, the Find X8 Pro has a speed of 50W AIRVOOC including the convenience of magnetic charging and attachment.

Android 15 and ColorOS 15
The Find X8 Pro will be launched with Android 15 and will receive five years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Oppo Find X8 Pro introduces the brand new ColorOS 15, which raises the bar for smooth experiences and smart AI capabilities. There are more than 800 parts for a sleek, minimalist aesthetic with refined effects. Furthermore, Flux Themes creates easy-to-swap visual profiles that you can switch between in moments. The fluid nature of ColorOS 15 is powered by Oppo’s Luminous Rendering Engine, resulting in 18% faster touch response and 40% more stability [2].

Oppo AI
Unfortunately, Oppo AI is not yet available in Dutch. When I asked when this would be the case, the answer was that they really did not know yet if and when Oppo AI will be available in Dutch, partly given the fact that the Dutch-speaking sales area is (relatively speaking) not that large.
To streamline photo editing, Oppo AI Eraser has been upgraded for superior object detection and generative fill.

AI Clarity Enhance can crop a photo or improve the sharpness of a photo

This context-aware menu is in the Smart Sidebar, with AI Summary, AI Speak, AI Reply, and AI Writer that streamline reading and writing, whether you’re browsing the web or typing a message.

AI Assistant for Notes quickly restructures and streamlines content, corrects spelling, grammar, and tone, and can intelligently expand or shorten notes. In the new Documents app, existing text files, spreadsheets and presentations can be summarized in seven languages. The app also supports professional translations and can rewrite documents in a formal or informal style. Recorder can record hours of audio in multiple languages ​​and generates a transcript and summary so you can focus on the task at hand.

Circle to Search
ColorOS 15 also introduces Google Circle to Search on Oppo smartphones. With a simple long press of the button you can immediately search for what’s on the screen, without having to switch apps. And with the Google Gemini app and Gemini as the ColorOS digital assistant – whether you’re checking the weather, chatting with Gemini or planning your next holiday – Oppo and Google are ready to make your life easier.
