Finally out of the showroom
Always wanted to drive a new Peugeot 306, but didn’t have a driver’s license or the money in the 90s? This is the chance to experience it. This Peugeot 306 comes out of the showroom as good as new after many years.
With some cars you may wonder what on earth they have had to be in pristine condition at an advanced age. In the case of this Peugeot 306, the owner history already provides some clarity. This 306 has been in the hands of car companies since at least 2000. The car has probably been warm and dry in the showroom since then and for one reason or another it has never been sold to a private individual. As a result, we are dealing with a 306 as you will probably not find it soon or even never again in the Netherlands.
The photos actually speak for themselves. Especially those of the engine compartment show that this 306 has hardly been on the road. The odometer too: it only shows 25,002 NAP-verified kilometers. So on average only 1,000 per year, although almost all of them were probably clocked in the first years. The same story in the interior: especially the not very timeless seat upholstery immediately betrays the age of the 306, but its condition certainly does not. Is it really a spotless car? Well, not quite. If we are really going to nitpick, we can consider the lack of the Peugeot logo on the tailgate as a small blemish.
It is a mystery to us why this otherwise fairly unremarkable 306 sedan has remained so protected from the big bad outside world all these years. In any case, it produces a special result. Incidentally, a car that has driven so little for so long is not necessarily a good car. It all still looks fresh, but it may not hurt to thoroughly check the car technically and check, among other things, for any dried-out rubbers and hoses.
Because of the rightly unique state, a considerable amount is requested for the 306: €5,950. That is a lot for a Peugeot 306 sedan, although the special condition and history may justify it. Then the only question is who will be salivating enough to consider purchasing this. That must be a fan.
