Peugeot 308 now also with mild-hybrid petrol engines

Hardly a week goes by without a model from one of the Stellantis brands being introduced to a mild-hybrid powertrain. After the DS 4, it is the Peugeot 308 that will be available with the well-known 136 hp mild-hybrid hardware. The recipe: a 136 and 230 Nm strong 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder that is assisted by an electric motor. The electric motor is housed in the six-speed automatic transmission and produces up to 28 hp. Average consumption is set at 4.7 l/100 km, making the mild-hybrid engine version more fuel-efficient than the 130 hp 1.2 Puretech with automatic transmission that it replaces (5.6 l/100 km). The traditional and therefore not mild-hybrid 1.2 Puretech remains, although from now on it is only available in combination with a manual gearbox.

Then the prices: the Peugeot 308 Hatchback is available as a mild-hybrid Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 from €34,400. The Peugeot 308 SW is also available with the mild-hybrid drivetrain and starts at €35,700. In both cases, 308 is designed as Active Pack Business. They are also available as Allure and GT.

The Peugeot 308 is now available with many powertrains. In addition to the 130 hp 1.2 PureTech with manual gearbox and this new mild-hybrid Hybrid 136 with automatic transmission, the 308 is also available as a plug-in hybrid Hybrid 180 and as a plug-in hybrid Hybrid 225. Anyone who wants an electric powertrain can also choose from the 308 rightly so. Both the 308 Hatchback and 308 SW are available as an electric e-308.
