Cheaper and more expensive than ë-Berlingo
The electric Peugeot e-Rifter, which was renewed last year, can be ordered. The practical electric space wonder is available in two lengths and has a starting price of almost €43,000 in the Netherlands. Please note: we are talking about the passenger car version here. It is slightly cheaper and more expensive than sister model Citroën ë-Berlingo.
In the market for a particularly practical and spacious electric family car, but is a Volkswagen Multivan or Xpeng G9 too big for you? Then the Peugeot e-Rifter may offer a solution. As before, the electric e-Rifter is available in the Netherlands in two lengths. There is a 4.4 meter long variant with a wheelbase of 2.79 meters and an extra spacious version that extends over a distance of 4.76 meters and has 2.98 meters between the front and rear axle. The Peugeot e-Rifter is available in both lengths in Allure and GT trim and starts at €42,918.
The starting price of just under €43,000 applies to the 4.4 meter long Peugeot e-Rifter in Allure version. The 4.76 meter long e-Rifter – length size 2 – is available in this version from €43,920. All electric e-Rifters have to make do with the 136 hp electric motor and the 50 kWh battery. The 51 kWh battery and 156 hp electric motor that is also available at Stellantis is not available. The electric range of the e-Rifter is up to 320 kilometers. Before the facelift, it could travel up to 280 kilometers on a full battery pack. The Peugeot e-Rifter has a sister model in the form of the Citroën ë-Berlingo, which was updated almost simultaneously with the Rifter. The ë-Berlingo has the same drivetrain and is also available in two lengths and two versions. The Peugeot e-Rifter is slightly cheaper in basic version, although the two differ in detail in terms of equipment. You can read more about the new ë-Berlingo here. The prices of the electric passenger car versions of other updated sister models of the Berlingo and the Rifter – the Toyota Pro Ace City Verso, the Opel Combo Life Electric – are not yet known.
