This year the new Philips OLED+950 and OLED+910 televisions will be published. Read here what the Premium Philips OLED+950 offers, such as the latest P5 AI Dual Engine processor, Meta Technology 3.0 OLED panels and four-sided ambilight.

For the presentation of the new products from Philips Ambilight TV I was invited by TP Vision, the company behind Philips Ambilight. And that is not entirely coincidental in Barcelona, because Ambilight is a sponsor of FC Barcelona. Many new products are currently being presented, including the Philips 2025 Ambilight TV models and also sound bars. In the top segment of the televisions there are the Philips OLED+950 and OLED+910, with, among other things, the latest P5 AI Dual Engine processor and Meta Technology 3.0 OLED panels. Read more about the top model Philips OLED+950 Ambilight TV and in this article about more AI, Moments app, more Ambilight functions and gaming in this article.

Design
The design team in Amsterdam has paid a lot of attention to details: for example, the very slender design of the OLED+950 has a minimalist black metal edge and diamond -shaped, angular black metal feet. Unique is of course the four -sided Ambilight, while this TV becomes further available in the image dimensions 65 inch and 77 inches and runs on the latest version of the Google Os.

OLED+ with a lot of AI
It is the magic word for many new devices and services: AI. And even with the Philips OLED+950, AI is not lacking. For example, the new 9th generation P5 AI Dual Engine processor has been developed by its own innovation team in Ghent and contains intelligent technological developments such as:
• Adaptive Intelligence
• New function for Specular Highlight Enhancement
• AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancer
• New AI Machine Learn Sharpness V3 system
• New V4 version of the AI Smart Bit Enhancement algorithm and
• The V4 version of the AI Perfect Reality function.

Adaptive Intelligence
Adaptive Intelligence uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve image quality by constantly learning from different data sources and circumstances. In addition to previous generations of the P5 processor who used AI for content classification and image optimization, Adaptive Intelligence is expanding by learning from a wide range of extra data:
1. In-frame analyzes: analyzing specific details in any frame of the content.
2. Meta data: data that, for example, provides information about the type of source or the bronze quality.
3. Source information: information about the incoming source (for example HDMI or streaming).
4. Environment sensors: data about the environment and the space where the lighting conditions in the room are looked at.
5. Big Data analyzes: patterns and trends that help improve image quality.
This data is used by the television to adjust and optimize the final image quality.

Specular Highlight Enhancement and other new features
Specular Highlight Enhancement is a new feature for image contrast improvement that can accentuate clear details in images of HDR sources based on AI.
The 9th generation P5 AI Dual Engine also contains a new one AI Adaptive Gamut Enhancerspecifically aimed at REC.709 sources. The REC.709 standard is a commonly used standard for streaming services, television broadcasts and also Blu-ray. The function optimizes the color reproduction and ensures that these colors of the content seem more vivid, without natural skin colors coming over with unrealistic. It also ensures that the potential of the new WCG panels (Wide Color Gamut) can be fully utilized. The level of color improvement can be set by the user himself and can be adjusted to the preferences, such as natural, balanced and lively.
It AI Machine Learn Sharpness V3 system is a technology that uses AI and Machine Learning to automatically improve the sharpness of images on TVs. The system analyzes the image in real time and adjusts the sharpness based on the content that is displayed.
The V4 version of the AI Smart Bit Enhancement algorithm is an advanced technology that also uses AI to improve image quality. The algorithm works by dynamically analyzing and optimizing the bits (small amounts of data) in visual material, resulting in a sharper and more detailed representation of the image. Especially with content in low resolution, this provides an improved result.
The V4 version of the AI Perfect Reality function then delves deeper into the image analysis to create a perfect balance between color, sharpness, contrast and brightness. The system automatically corrects image problems such as noise and thus provides an ultra-realistic visual experience.

Striking color reproduction and brightness-Meta Technology 3 OLED panel
Meta 3.0 technology contains the new Primary RGB Tandem panel, which uses a stacked four-layer structure with pure R, G and B-light sources to improve the Color Gamut (Color Gamut) to 99.5 DCI-P3 (83% BT2020) . In addition, the brightness is also increased to offer a full white performance of 350 nit and a new peak clearance of 3700 NIT.
The Meta 3.0 technology also contains improved ultra-length reflection technology, which blocks more than 99% of screen reflections. As a result, the Philips OLED950 retains image details and colors remain accurately, even in highly illuminated viewing conditions.
The new Meta 3.0 panel in the OLED+950 also contributes to a reduction in energy consumption with a saving of up to 20%, thanks to an improved power supply for the panel.

Sound quality
The OLED+950 is equipped with an integrated 70W 2.1 audio system, with an accurate digital crossover optimally managing the distribution to the Two-Way left and right speakers. In addition, the system has a dedicated triple ring, backward -facing bass driver, which is supported by four passive radiators for a deep, detailed sound reproduction.

For gamers by gamers
For years, many Philips OLED televisions have been very suitable for gaming thanks to special technology and clevernesses. And that is no different with the new 2025 series. This way gamers can store their adjustments and preferred settings per game under a special profile. The TV detects the next time that the same game is played and automatically selects the existing profile and activates the settings.
The latest version of the game bar also contains an improved color aid fashion to select colors more accurately from a wider color range and filter options. This gives the ‘Color Filter’ more options for limiting the color spectrum on the screen for a stylized or targeted gameplay experience
Due to the update on the OLED+950, it now also contains a minimap zoom. This Gamemode allows gamers to zoom in the game of the game, move it to another location on the screen and adjust the transparency. All to promote ease of use and to create benefits for the gamer.

Price and availability
The Philips OLED+950 will be available in the Netherlands and Belgium in September in the image sizes 65 inch and 77 inches.
