Adobe Photoshop Lightroom offers the ability to store and export photos from your smartphone. Thanks to our tips, discover these features.
At first glance, you can be a little lost in Lightroom mobile. The menus and options offered by this application are numerous. How to save your images? How to export or print them? With these few tips, you will be able to find your way around quickly!
1. Save an edited image
There is no need to make any particular recording since all the modifications you make to a photo will be saved automatically in real time by the software. When you open, you will find the image in the state you left it when you last used it.
2. Export a file in JPG, PNG or other
You have the possibility of exporting your images after having processed them.
There are two ways to do this depending on whether you want to save a single photo or a group of images, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom gives you the option of being able to manage groups of photos.
Note that the images will be exported to the dedicated images folder on your mobile devices. Also note that the export will be in * .jpg format, for the moment on the mobile version of Lightroom there is no other format available.
To export a single image:
You must go to the image development module, that is to say the “magnifying glass mode”, where the choices of settings are located, etc.

In the top right corner click on the up arrow icon. A menu will then open with different options, one of them is “Save. in gallery … »

Before clicking, notice that on the right of this text is a small wheel. By clicking on this wheel a menu will appear to ask you whether during the recording you want to “share the metadata” of the image or not (for example a caption, information on the location of the image, etc.). Once the choice is made, click on the arrow in the top right corner to return to saving the image.

After clicking on “Save. in gallery … ”a window will open asking you to choose the quality of your export. You have two choices “Highest possible quality” or “Limit to 2048px”. Once the choice is made press OK just above, the export will then begin. A few seconds after a text will be displayed “1 photo exported successfully” to confirm the success of the operation.

To export a group of images
Once on the image viewing grid, click on the up arrow in the top right corner, then choose “Save.” in gallery … ”.

You will find yourself on a screen presenting thumbnails of your images, this will allow you to choose the ones you want to export. To retain an image click on it, a small “validated” icon will then be displayed on the thumbnail.

Once the selection is complete, click on the icon in the top right corner. A window will open asking you to choose the quality of your export (the same as if you were exporting a single image, read the presentation above). Once the quality is chosen click on OK and the export of your images will start. It may take a little while if you are exporting a lot of photos. At the end of the operation, a confirmation screen should appear indicating “X photos exported successfully”.

3. Print without border or frame
On the post-processing your image screen, when you are done working on your image, click the up arrow in the top right corner.
Then click on “Share …” Your device will then open a menu outside of Lightroom showing you all the applications linked to the device (messaging, social networks, etc.). If your printer is connected to your device, it should appear on this screen. Then you can define your print settings. Otherwise you can send the image to your mailbox so that you can then print it from a computer.

4) Add or save presets
Lightroom for iOS and Android allows you to use presets. That is, predefined settings (contrast, brightness, etc.) to post-process your images faster. You will find already preinstalled parameters in the software. For the moment, the mobile version, which is more basic than the computer version, does not allow you to add presets or presets.
