Also new versions

The DS 4 has not even been on the market for a year, or DS has been holding it up to the light for a while. Among other things, the electric range of the plug-in hybrid DS 4 E-Tense 225 has been improved. We are also introduced to a new, extra luxurious equipment level.
At the beginning of 2021, DS presented the 4, a new compact mid-sized car with a design that took a considerably different and more idiosyncratic path than the previous DS 4. After all, the first DS 4 was still a legacy of Citroën, the current DS 4 is from the outset. a DS. The technology is also a completely different story, with the further developed EMP2 base, where the arrival of a plug-in hybrid powertrain was big news for the DS 4. It is that powertrain that is now again interesting to report. The DS 4 E-Tense 225 is now 62 kilometers away (WLTP) purely electrically. Previously it was 55 km. The greater range is possible thanks to improved software.
That is not the only news, because the DS 4 also gets a new top version. That listens to the name Opéra and brings extras such as brown-colored nappa leather upholstery, seat heating, cooling and massage functions in the front seats to the DS 4 (and of course also the DS 4 Cross). As an Opéra, the DS 4 also has Active Scan Suspension as standard, a sunroof, electrically operated tailgate with hands-free operation, wireless charging and aluminum pedals. In addition, the DS Drive Assist driver assistance package is being expanded with semi-autonomous lane change, which should allow the car to safely change lanes at speeds between 70 km/h and 180 km/h after the direction indicator has been activated. Furthermore, the Performance Line versions now get black badges on the grille and tailgate.
It is not yet known what the adjustments will do to the Dutch prices of the DS 4. The Dutch price of the DS 4 as Opéra is not yet known.
