Jeep has released more prices for the plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe could already be ordered as a First Edition, but from now on there are also more common versions on the price list.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe was the first version of the current generation Wrangler that, thanks to its paper-based favorable CO2 emissions, was in the order books for well under € 100,000. Pretty well. For the Jeep Wrangler 4xe as First Edition you lost € 80,990, about € 17,000 less than you have to tick off for the Wrangler with 272 hp 2.0 T four-cylinder. Jeep is now expanding the price list of the Wrangler 4xe with three new versions, but this does not make the plug-in hybrid off-road hero much cheaper.
That is somewhat striking. Special introductory versions are often based on the top version to be released later and are therefore often the more expensive versions on the menu of a model. The Wrangler 4xe is different. Jeep now includes Sahara, 80th Anniversary and Rubicon trim levels on its plug-in hybrid Wrangler price list. For the Sahara, you lose € 80,690 while the 80th Anniversary and Rubicon flavors have to yield € 82,990 and € 84,690 successively.
The drivetrain is of course the same on every Wrangler 4xe. Under the hood of the plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler is a 2.0 four-cylinder, a petrol engine with turbo that is linked to two electric motors. The drivetrain produces 380 hp and 637 Nm of torque. Under the back seat is a 17 kWh battery from which the Wrangler 4xe squeezes about 50 electric kilometers. A sprint from a standstill to a speed of 100 km / h is done in 6.5 seconds.
Things like an 8.4-inch Uconnect system, a comprehensive audio system, cruise control, electrically heated door mirrors, LED lighting all around, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and 18-inch alloy are standard on the Sahara. The 18th Anniversary adds, among other things, special light alloy, 80th Anniversary badges, a leather-covered interior, keyless entry and blind spot detection. The Rubicon is the roughest of the bunch. This version features 17-inch light alloy with folded off-road tires, a modified rear axle, an electronically detachable front anti-roll bar, a front camera to see what you are scrambling over, a special off-road mode and a differential lock on both front and rear axles.
