Poco has released a new smartphone for young people who want a good but affordable phone. The Poco C65 is the latest addition to Poco’s C series.

The Chinese Poco was founded in 2018 by Xiaomi and mainly serves the budget segment with its smartphones. Most of the phones are a re-released version of Xiaomi or Redmi phones with a different design. Their first smartphone was the Pocophone F1; This year they released their latest top models with the Poco F5 and F5 Pro. And now they have announced the very latest phone in the C series, the Poco C65.
Poco C65
The Poco C65 has a 6.74-inch screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which ensures a smooth image (1). The LCD screen protects the eyes against flicker and blue light thanks to certified solutions. The Poco C65 has a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with CPU speeds of up to 2.0 GHz. In terms of storage, the Poco 65 comes in two variants: one with 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage memory and the other version has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage memory. Moreover, expandable storage up to 1 TB and RAM up to 16 GB of RAM are supported (3). With the 5000mAh battery you can use it for a long time without having to charge it (3).
Cameras
Poco’s improved camera features and lenses allow users to improve the quality of photos and videos. The Poco C65 comes with a triple 50MP AI camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with 10 film filters and a film frame. The 8MP selfie camera’s soft light ring creates a natural lighting effect that should enhance your photos, even in dim and dark conditions. The Poco C65 user interface has a new zoom ring that allows you to zoom in and out better. The camera also has a time-lapse and night mode function. Other fun features include Film Camera that allows users to take photos and videos with a vintage film vibe. There is also an option to add filters and a Poco C65 watermark.
Price and availability
The Poco C65 will be available from November 20, 2023 in black, blue and purple and is available in two variants: 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. The recommended retail price for the version with 6 GB + 128 GB is € 149.90, the recommended retail price for the 8 GB + 256 GB version is € 169.90, both can be ordered via mi.com or po.co.
Launch deal: from November 20, 1:00 PM to November 27, 11:59 PM, the Poco C65 is available extra cheaply. For example, the variant with 6+128 does not cost € 149.90 but € 129.90. The variant with 8 GB + 256 GB does not cost € 169.90 but € 149.90 during this deal.
