Polestar 2 again in sporty trim

BST without 270?

Polestar 2 again in sporty trim

Polestar seems to be launching an extra fast and sporty Polestar 2 soon. The newcomer is very reminiscent of the BST edition 270.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 (from photo 2) is the strikingly striped Polestar that colleague Marc Klaver drove in November. The car has the 476 hp that you can also get with the ‘Performance Pack’ in the regular Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, but then combined with a modified chassis. The black stripe is an option, but not mandatory. Nice, anyway, because then everyone will see that you are driving one of the 270 BSTs.

Still, you may be fooling yourself with that, because it is possible that Polestar will continue the BST party without that production limit. The brand swings the above photo into the world via social media, showing a Polestar 2 that strongly resembles the BST. Just like its apparent example, the car seems to be lower to the asphalt and has the same jet black wheels, gold-colored brake calipers and fully painted bumpers and wheel arch edges. The car seems to be in Volvo’s ‘Sage Green’, a color that is not yet available at Polestar, although it may also secretly be Thunder gray.

Polestar is not releasing much about the newcomer yet, but will say when that will change. On March 21, next Tuesday, it must be that time.
