Polestar 3 and 5 Goodwood

Polestar has found an ideal stage to showcase the new Polestar 3 in the Goodwood Festival of Speed that is now taking place. Polestar does not stop there, because it will also bring the yet to be revealed Polestar 5 to the English car festival.

Polestar sends the Polestar 3 up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, unveiled last year. The most powerful variant of the Polstar 3 – the version with Performance Pack and therefore two electric motors with 517 hp together – climbs the well-known hill twice a day during the car party. The Polestar 3 does not do that alone. Polestar is also bringing the 2 BST Edition 230 and a model yet to be revealed: the Polestar 5.

Polestar 5 patent

The production version of the Polestar 5 on patent image. Without a rear window, just like the Polestar 4.

The Polestar 5 will be the absolute flagship of the brand. The prototypes of the Polestar 5 are still wrapped in a sleek sticker sheet, but the car actually no longer has any external secrets. AutoWeek could already show you the Polestar 5 on a patent image from all angles. The prototypes of the Polestar 5 will also climb the Goodwood hill – just like last year. The electric competitor of cars such as the Audi e-tron GT will in any case have an 884 hp powertrain and the test models coming into action in Goodwood are therefore endowed with that power. The Polestar 5 must be built and marketed in 2024. This is not the last new car from Polestar that the brand will unveil in the coming years. Polestar is also coming with a production version of this Polestar 6. Remarkably enough, the brand new Polestar 4 does not visit the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
