Mercedes-Benz is already supplying the new C-Class with an extensive range of petrol and diesel engines. The C-class is now also available as a plug-in hybrid C300e.
If you go shopping for a new C-Class at Mercedes-Benz, you can already choose from various petrol and diesel versions. Is there nothing to your liking? Then the C300e may offer a solution. The C300e is a plug-in hybrid C-class of which Mercedes-Benz is now releasing the prices.
The starting price of the plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Benz C300e is €55,094. That price applies to the Limousine. Prefer the more practical Estate like C300e? Reserve an amount of €56,594.
The powertrain of the Mercedes-Benz C300e consists of a 204 hp 2.0 four-cylinder petrol engine that works together with an electric motor with 129 hp. It provides the C300e with a system power of 313 hp and 550 Nm. The battery pack has a capacity of 25.4 kWh, good for an impressive electric range of more than 100 kilometers. If you don’t want to approach that range, you can accelerate the C300e to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The C300e Limousine has a top speed of 245 km/h, the Estate stops at 240 km/h.
It does not stop at this one plug-in hybrid powertrain. Mercedes-Benz will introduce plug-ins in combination with a diesel engine at a later stage.
