Techzle can be the first to report the amounts BMW has written on the price tags of the new diesel version for both the X5 and X6.
Earlier this year, BMW presented a new diesel version for the X5 and X6: the xDrive40d. This 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel fills the gap between the 265 hp xDrive30d and the 400 hp M50d. Techzle has the prices.
The X5 costs as xDrive40d at least € 100,563, while for the X6 you have to pay at least € 106,409. For those amounts you will have an SUV with a 340 hp and 700 Nm strong 3.0 diesel engine, a six-speed engine that distributes its power over all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The machine is coupled to a 48 volt starter generator, which of course makes it a mild hybrid. The starter generator is able to provide 11 hp extra power and, among other things, the two X models can ‘sail’ under certain conditions with the combustion engine switched off.
Both the X5 and the X6 shoot with their new diesel engine in 5.5 seconds to a speed of 100 km / h. The average consumption of the X5 xDrive40d is, depending on the chosen version, 5.9-6.4 l / 100 km. The X6 is marginally more efficient with its new diesel engine and consumes 5.8-6.2 l / 100 km. You can order immediately.
