Double Quadifoglio News
Alfa Romeo has upgraded the absolute top versions of the Giulia and the Stelvio. We are of course talking about the more than 500 hp Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio. It is now known what they cost in the Netherlands for both sporty Italians.
In April, Alfa Romeo already lifted the updated versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio to the podium. The sporty duo was then only shown as Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario, but now the versions with a shorter name are also available. Of course you have to dig deep into your pockets for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but you also get an almost immeasurable mountain of Italian horsepower fun in return.
The Quadrifoglio versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio have a modified 2.9 biturbo V6, a powerful machine that is now 520 hp instead of 510 hp. That shrill six-cylinder sends its 600 Nm to the wheels via a mechanical limited slip differential with a setting copied from the Giulia GTAs.
Just like the milder and previously presented updated Giulia and Stelvio, the Quadrifoglio versions also get a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Also new is the carbonfinish on the dashboard and on the door panels.
As an option, the two can be equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust system. From the outside you can distinguish the renewed Quadrifoglios from the earlier versions, especially by their headlights. Just like the regular updated versions, they have a new LED layout with three LED segments in each unit. Incidentally, they are fully adaptive full-LED matrix viewers. The Giulia Quadrifoglio stands on 19-inch alloy with five ’round spokes’. The Stelvio has similar wheels, although they are a lot larger at 21 inches. Special Q brakes are hidden behind the wheels. Both the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are optionally available with ceramic brakes with red calipers. These brakes result in a weight reduction of 17 kilos.
The renewed Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio costs €138,500. For the tightened Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio you have lost €166,000 in the Netherlands.
