Specifications
Both the regular M3 and the M4 sprint to a speed of 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds. The Competition versions of the M3 and M4 reach 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. The M3 and M4 have a six-speed manual transmission, while the Competition models have an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission as standard. For the time being, the M3 and M4, also as a Competition, are always rear-wheel drive, but that will change next year. The M3 and M4 Competition will also be available with xDrive all-wheel drive in the summer of next year. More M expansion will follow in the form of the M3 Touring. It is the first time in M3 history that BMW is adding an M3 Touring to its delivery range.
