Jaguar recently carried out a thorough facelift on the F-Pace, a time when the SUV was available for the first time with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Techzle has all the prices of that plug-in hybrid F-Pace P400e and can immediately report what the other new engine versions, including the 400 hp P400, will have to cost.
After a career spanning four years, the Jaguar F-Pace received a major facelift earlier this month. Although Jaguar’s first SUV was not too harsh on the outside, the competitor of cars such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Alfa Romeo Stelvio got a completely new interior. The completely renewed interior now offers space for the also new Pivi Pro infotainment system. Also hidden deeper under the sheet metal Jaguar used the brush of innovation. The F-Pace is now available with new powertrains, including the plug-in hybrid P400e!
F-Pace P400e
The F-Pace P400e gets the same powertrain as the eponymous version of the Land Rover Defender. Under the hood is a 300 hp four-cylinder that works together with an electric motor of 143 hp. The whole produces a system power of 404 hp. The battery pack has a capacity of 17.1 kWh, good for an electrical range of 53 kilometers. The F-Pace P400e completes a sprint from a standstill to 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds. The starting price of the plug-in hybrid Jaguar F-Pace P400e is € 76,250. This makes it not the cheapest F-Pace, which is an honor for the F-Pace D165, the entry-level diesel that costs € 71,280.

Petrol and diesel
The rest of the engine range of the F-Pace consists of four- and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, all of which, with the exception of the P250, are equipped with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology. The diesel list starts with the 163 hp D165, a version that has to tolerate the 204 hp D200 above it. Both are four-cylinder. The most powerful diesel engine is the 300 hp D300, a 3.0 six-in-line. The entry into the petrol level is the aforementioned P250, a 249 hp 2.0 four-cylinder that has the new mighty 400 hp P400, a 3.0 straight-six, as a more powerful alternative. The strongest regular petrol version helps the F-Pace to a top speed of 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds. The P400e trumps him in that sprint by 0.1 second.
