BMW is expanding the price list of the 4-series Coupé and Cabrio considerably. The two models are now available as M440i without xDrive four-wheel drive, but there is much more!
The BMW 4-series Coupé and Convertible were already available in various engine versions. For example, BMW delivered the two as 420i, as 430i, as M440i xDrive and as 420d. A whole bunch of new versions are now being added. From now on, the 420i and 430i are also available with xDrive, while BMW now also offers the M440i without four-wheel drive. In addition, there are also more powerful diesel versions than the 420d’s on the price list, namely the 430d xDrive and M440d xDrive.
The €56,948 and 184 hp 4-series Coupé 420i is joined by the 420i with xDrive four-wheel drive. BMW asks at least €60,545 for it. The 4-series Cabrio will not get this version, although this variant was already available as a 420i without xDrive. The 4-series Coupé gets another engine version that for the time being is ignored by the 4-series Cabrio: the 258 hp 430i xDrive. The 430i without xDrive already existed. BMW is asking €65,135 for the 4-series Coupé 430i xDrive. If you are in the market for a 4-series Coupé and don’t like the Cabrio, you’re in luck. The price list of the 4-series Coupé is also supplemented with a purely rear-wheel drive version of the M440i. That 374 hp and thanks to a mild-hybrid system temporarily another 11 hp more powerful M440i was already available in both the Coupé and Cabrio with xDrive drive. The rear-wheel drive and reserved only for the Coupé M440i has a starting price of €81,447. BMW recently put price tags on the 4-series M4 Competition xDrive Convertible and now the 4-series Coupé has also been added to the price list as an all-wheel drive M4 Competition xDrive. BMW is asking €135,657 for it, about 6 grand more than for the rear-wheel drive M4 Competition.
There is also expansion in the diesel field. In addition to the mild-hybrid 190 hp (+11 hp) 420d with and without xDrive drive, the 4-series Coupé is now also available as a 430d xDrive and as a mighty M440d xDrive. The first has a 286 hp (+11 hp) 3.0 six-cylinder engine in its nose. BMW is asking €73,497 for it. The M440d xDrive is the diesel equivalent of the M440i xDrive and has a 340 hp (+11 hp) and 700 Nm strong six-in-line for which BMW wants to receive at least €91,461. The 4-series Cabrio will benefit from the arrival of a rear-wheel drive only version of the 430d for which it costs €80,367. The M440d xDrive is not yet coming to the 4-series Cabrio.
