Two engines but still a lot of choice
The Ford Puma recently returned from the cutting table with a changed front and a completely new interior. The facelifted Puma is less expensive than the version before the refresh. However, from now on he will have to do without the 200 hp ST-X.
Bad news: the sporty Ford Puma ST with 200 hp will no longer return to the Netherlands. AutoWeek has the prices of the revised Ford Puma, which you can recognize by, among other things, different bumpers and a new dashboard down to the smallest detail. In the Puma you will now find a striking and especially angular cockpit, with the option of installing a new and significantly larger 12-inch infotainment screen. The updated crossover costs from €32,995. That amount is for the Titanium version with 125 hp mild-hybrid 1.0 EcoBoost petrol engine. In this case, shifting is done with a six-speed manual gearbox. The pre-facelift Ford Puma cost €33,695 in the same configuration. Would you prefer a Powershift automatic? No problem. The Puma with 125 hp 1.0 in Titanium trim costs €35,295 with automatic transmission.
Ford supplies the Puma with this 125 hp mild-hybrid 1.0 as Titanium, ST-Line and as ST-Line X. There is also a sporty ST, but the ST range has been thinned out. Previously, the ST was available with a 200 hp 1.5 EcoBoost and a six-speed manual gearbox and with a 170 hp mild-hybrid 1.0 in combination with an automatic transmission. The 200 hp variant with manual gearbox will disappear and will not return, the Dutch importer confirms to AutoWeek. The 170 hp Puma ST with automatic transmission will continue to exist. It costs €45,695 and that is also less than before.
