Prices new Hyundai Kona

At the beginning of September, the Hyundai Kona underwent a facelift. Techzle can exclusively release the prices of the renewed Hyundai Kona.

After its at-point session, the Hyundai Kona looks even more eccentric than the model was presented to the world in 2017. Although Hyundai stuck to the layered front, the exact interpretation of the front with two-storey lighting is completely different. In addition to external changes, Hyundai also makes technical changes. For example, the regular petrol version is now always equipped with mild hybrid technology. The Kona Hybrid with 1.6 GDI just returns and the electric success number Hyundai Kona Electric will eventually strengthen the ranks again. However, that Kona Electric will not come until the summer of next year. The starting price of the renewed Kona is € 25,835.

The starting price of just under 26 mille applies to the Hyundai Kona with 1.0 T-GDI under the hood, a 120 hp 1.0 three-cylinder that is equipped with a 48v mild hybrid system. The 120 hp 1.0 T-GDI is always paired with Hyundai’s new iMT transmission, a six-speed manual transmission that decouples the engine from the box as soon as the accelerator is released.

The Kona Hybrid retains its 105 hp hybrid powertrain, which includes an atmospheric 1.6 GDI and a 1.56 kWh battery pack. The starting price of the Hyundai Kona Hybrid is € 28,675. As with the petrol Kona, the starting price has increased by several hundred euros. This is partly due to the fact that these are the prices that apply in 2021.

Delivery of the Kona Hybrid will start in January. The first copies of the new mild hybrid petrol versions will follow in January. As mentioned, the market launch of the electric Hyundai Kona Electric is known for the summer of next year. Prices of that new variant are therefore not yet available. Until the arrival of the renewed Kona Electric, the already well-known model is simply in Hyundai’s showrooms. In the long term, Hyundai will come with a rock-hard Hyundai Kona N.

Equipment

The Comfort version was already fine in its stuff with things like 16-inch alloy, a reversing camera, an active lane assist, cruise control and electrically operated and adjustable exterior mirrors, but now gets more pampering from home. For example, LED daytime running lights are now standard, the same applies to a 4.2-inch digital screen in the instrumentation, an electronic handbrake, an emergency braking system and rear parking sensors. An 8-inch multimedia system and Blind Collision Warning are now also part of the standard equipment. The Comfort Smart has the extras include a 10.25-inch large multimedia system that also has navigation and will include a more extensive audio system. The Fashion version adds features such as electrically folding exterior mirrors, a head-up display, privacy glass, an electrically adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s seat, a black grille, skid plates front and rear and a rain sensor to the party. From now on, this variant has a fully digital set of instruments. The Fashion Sky has an extra sliding / tilting roof. The Premium has, among other things, 18-inch light metal, a USB connection in the rear, an inductive charger, parking sensors at the front and electrically adjustable front seats that are not only heated but also cooled. Front LED headlights are also part of the Premium trim.
