Renault has released the prices of the Arkana, a brand new SUV with a steeply sloping roofline that will be at Dutch dealers later this year. The starting price of the Renault Arkana is € 32,390.
The Renault Arkana is a 4.57 meter long SUV with a 2.72 meter wheelbase. With its steeply sloping roofline, the car can be characterized as a so-called ‘coupé-SUV’, a body shape that we see mainly at brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. The Arkana is not only 34 centimeters longer than the Captur, but also 12 centimeters taller than the Kadjar. The wheelbase of the Arkana exceeds that of the Kadjar by 7 centimeters. In the Netherlands, the Arkana is currently only available with an E-Tech Hybrid powertrain.
Renault asks at least € 32,990 for the Renault Arkana. In that case, the SUV is designed as Zen. Under the hood is in all cases the E-Tech Hybrid 145 called hybrid powertrain that produces 143 hp. Higher on the list is the Intens version for which Renault charges € 34,590. The absolute top version is the sporty decorated RS Line with a price tag of € 37,290.
The standard equipment of the Zen version includes the Renault Easy Link infotainment system with 7-inch screen. Cruise control, LED lighting, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist and traffic sign recognition are also standard. The Intense flavor adds 18-inch light alloy, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a larger 9.3-inch infotainment system with navigation function. The RS Line also has a different 18-inch light alloy, sportier-looking bumpers all around, an electrically heated and leather-covered sports steering wheel, with a combination of leather and Alcantara-covered seats, Easy Park Assist and an inductive charger.
Arkana
We got to know the Renault Arkana digitally in mid-2019 as a model specially developed for the Russian market that was on the A0 platform, which was mainly used by cars such as the Dacia Duster. The Arkana coming to Europe is very similar to the Russian Arkana but is on the much more modern CMF-B platform known from the Clio and Captur. The luggage space of the European Arkana with E-Tech powertrain is 438 liters. The Renault Arkana will soon run side by side with its South Korean twin brother from Samsung, the XM3, from the band in Busan, South Korea.
