You can also print something from a tablet, if the printer is part of a WiFi network. With an iPad and an AirPrint printer, it’s even easier.
Print with WiFi printer
Most people have integrated their tablet into the Wi-Fi network at home, so that they can access the Internet wirelessly at home. If a modern WiFi printer uses that same network, you can print wirelessly from the tablet. This requires a special app, which is made available by printer manufacturers. You will find them below.

After installing the app on the tablet, you can print from various apps, such as the photos or word processing app. Some printers only handle photos and PDFs, others also allow printing of other documents and web pages.
Print with AirPrint
To print directly from an app on iPhone or iPad, you need a dedicated AirPrint printer. A list of suitable printers can be found on the Apple’s website. Both the printer and iPad must be on the same Wi-Fi network. You can then print from commonly used apps such as Photos, Safari or Mail.
