In Gmail, add a mail sender to your contact list in no time at all.
Contacts
You probably sometimes receive emails from people who have not yet been saved as a contact person. Do you know the sender of the mail? Then add him or her to the contact list. Gmail has a handy and time-consuming trick for this. You can then easily email them without looking up the email address or adding them to a mail group.
Add sender to contacts
Add a mail sender to the contact list like this:
- Go to www.gmail.com and log in.
- Click on the folder containing the mail of the person you want to add to your contacts, for example inbox.
- Open the email.
- Click on his name or profile picture above the e-mail next to the sender’s e-mail address.
- Then click Add to contacts.
The person has been added to the contact list in Google Contacts. Open the list by clicking the Google apps icon at the top > Contacts > Contacts. Edit the contact’s name if necessary.
