Realme GT 3 Neo series costs 430 euros, has 150W fast charger

Realme has officially launched the Realme GT 3 Neo series in Europe. The phones are mainly characterized by the extremely fast charging. The devices from this series are therefore inspired by car racing, sports cars and Dragon Ball Z.

The Realme GT 3 series consists of four devices: the GT Neo 3 150W, GT Neo 3 80W, GT Neo 3T and the GT Neo 3T Dragon Ball Z edition. According to Realme, the GT Neo 3 series phones combine premium features that are all inspired by car racing. This is reflected, for example, in the ‘Racing Stripe Design’ of the GT Neo 3 150W and the GT Neo 3 80W, which, according to Realme, ‘honours the purity of speed with an authentic reference to an epic rivalry between two car manufacturers’. The design should also be the embodiment of speed and performance, the two spearheads of the devices. For example, you can charge the GT Neo 3 150W, as the name suggests, with a power of 150W.

Realme GT Neo 3

The first two phones from the GT Neo 3 series are the GT Neo 3 150W and the GT Neo 3 80W. The two devices were already launched in China at the end of March, but are now also officially coming to Europe. The two phones only differ in terms of battery and charging speed. The GT Neo 3 80W has a 5000 mAh battery which can be charged with a power of 80W. The GT Neo 3 150W has a 4500 mAh battery. You can charge the latter with a power of 150W. This allows you to fully charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in fifteen minutes. This is possible by means of the 150W Ultradart charging technology. This charger uses techniques from Realme’s sister company, OPPO. A technique that not only ensures that the battery is charged quickly, but also ensures that the battery will wear out less quickly. The smartphones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, supported with 8 GB of RAM. The smartphones have Android 12 with the Realme UI 3.0 shell. Furthermore, the smartphones have three cameras: a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front we see a 16 MP selfie camera. The main camera uses the Sony IMX766 sensor and features optical image stabilization.

Realme GT Neo 3T and 3T Dragon Ball Z Edition

The Realme GT Neo 3T is a different beast than the devices mentioned above. This phone has a different chipset and a different camera setup. The Realme GT Neo 3T has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro camera. This 3T can be charged with a power of 80W. The phone also runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset and has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Realme GT Neo 3T will also be available in a special Dragon Ball Z version. In addition to a Dragon Ball Z design, the device also has a modified Android shell. This shell includes custom wallpapers and icons, all in a Dragon Ball Z theme. Son Goku will thus be prominent in the software.
