Just like every year, Apple is releasing a large software update this fall for all their important devices, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch. During the WWDC 2025, Apple introduced us to iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos Tahoe, TVOS 26 and Watchos 26, but when are these updates available?
At the moment it is not yet known when the software updates will become available to the general public. The expectation is that Apple will announce during the iPhone 17 event when they will release the big updates for the fall. Rumors indicate the week of 15 September.

In recent years these updates have usually appeared on the first Monday after the introduction of the new iPhone.
