Renault Master Hydrogen is coming this year

More company car news from Renault. The brand announces the arrival of the Master Hydrogen. It will be presented before the end of this year.

Renault has quickly lifted the new Kangoo, the completely new Express for Europe and the new Trafic Combi and SpaceClass to the podium. However, the news flow doesn’t stop there. Before the end of this year, Renault is pulling the curtain off the Master Hydrogen, a Master with a fuel cell on board whose arrival was announced at the end of 2019.

The Renault Master Hydrogen will soon not be the only Renault commercial vehicle with a fuel cell. The Kangoo should also get a Hydrogen version in the long term, as it turned out earlier. In collaboration with Plug Power, a specialist in the field of fuel cell technology, Renault aims to have a market share of 30 percent in the segment of light commercial vehicles with a fuel cell on board by 2030. With the Master Hydrogen, Renault is responding to a development in France, where the government is investing 7.2 billion euros in the integration and availability of hydrogen as a vehicle fuel

Renault currently already supplies the Master with diesel engines and there is a fully electric Master ZE. The latter has an electric range of 120 kilometers. In 2019, Renault reported that the Master Hydrogen should be able to get around 350 kilometers. The range of the announced Kangoo with fuel cell would be about 370 kilometers.
